About the Project

Messenger Plus is an independent desktop utility that allows users to access the official messenger.com website in a standalone window.

The application is built using WebView technology. It simply displays the publicly available Messenger web interface inside a lightweight desktop container. It does not modify, replace, or interfere with Meta’s services in any way.

Messenger Plus provides optional desktop convenience features such as:

• Remembering window position and selected monitor
• System tray integration
• Desktop notifications
• Background operation
• Unread message counter on the taskbar icon
• Optional launch on system startup

The application does not alter Messenger functionality or security mechanisms. All communication occurs directly between the user and the official messenger.com service, just as it would in a standard web browser.
